Der ehemalige Motocross-Champion Jack Dawson kehrt in seine Heimatstadt zurück, um sich um seinen jüngeren Bruder zu kümmern. In der Hoffnung auf ein neues Leben nimmt er einen riskanten Job an. Eine nächtliche Odyssee durch die kriminelle Unterwelt von Englands Norden beginnt, in welcher Jack sich den Geistern seiner Vergangenheit stellen muss.
