Der berüchtige Killer mit dem Decknamen "The Man From Toronto" (Woody Harrelson) mietet eine Airbnb-Wohnung, die eigentlich von Loser Teddy (Kevin Hart) gebucht wurde. Die beiden ungleichen Männer treffen aufeinander und müssen sich wohl oder übel mit der Doppelbuchung arrangieren. Allerdings ist die fehlgeschlagene Anmietung nicht das einzige Problem, was besonders Teddy zu spüren bekommt. Die Bekanntschaft mit dem Profikiller beeinträchtigt auch seinen Aufenthalt auf gefährliche Art und Weise.
