1979 im Süden der USA: Ein Filmteam erreicht ein abgelegenes Bauernhaus im tiefsten Texas, um einen Porno zu drehen. Davon haben Regisseur R.J. (Owen Campbell), seine für den Sound zuständige Freundin Lorraine (Jenna Ortega) sowie Schauspieler Jackson Hole (Scott Mescudi) und die Stripperinnen Maxine (Mia Goth) und Bobby-Lynne (Brittany Snow) ihren Gastgebern (Stephen Ure und erneut Mia Goth) jedoch nichts erzählt. Dabei handelt es sich um ein isoliertes, älteres Ehepaar, das besonders großen Wert darauf legt, dass es ihren Gästen gut geht. Als jedoch die Nacht hereinbricht, wird das schon leicht aufdringliche Verhalten des Paaren plötzlich zusehends gewalttätig.
