Im Oktober 2024 wurde das Spiel mit einem Special Recognition Award von Amnesty International ausgezeichnet. Leider zeigt diese Auszeichnung auch, dass die Welt seit der Veröffentlichung des Spiels im Jahr 2014 kein friedlicher Ort geworden ist. Statt einer großen Feier haben wir beschlossen, dieses Jubiläum dazu zu nutzen, das Richtige zu tun. This War of Mine: Forget Celebrations ist ein DLC mit einer neuen Geschichte und besonderen Gegenständen, aber vor allem bietet er Spielern die Möglichkeit, Menschen in Not zu unterstützen.Nimm die Gelegenheit wahr, der belagerten Stadt Pogoren mit Katia, einer erfahrenen Kriegsberichterstatterin und einer der Bürgerinnen, die du vielleicht noch aus This War of Mine kennst, erneut einen Besuch abzustatten. Der DLC beginnt damit, dass Katia versucht, ein Buch die tragischen Geschichten der von Konflikten gebeutelten Menschen niederzuschreiben. Ein plötzlicher Raketenangriff erschüttert Katias Haus und bringt ihre Arbeit zum Stillstand. Schwer verletzt wartet sie nun auf ein Rettungsteam, das von ihrem Verlag entsandt wurde. Bevor es eintrifft, musst du Katia bei der Suche nach ihrem fehlenden Buchmaterial helfen und gleichzeitig versuchen, in einer Stadt zu überleben, die vom Krieg erschüttert wird.Features:Erlebe eine neue Geschichte, die im belagerten Pogoren spielt.Suche nach fehlendem Kriegsmaterial, das Katia braucht, um ihr Buch abzuschließen.Stelle dich schwierigen moralischen Entscheidungen, während du ums Überleben kämpfst.

need. Take the opportunity to revisit the besieged city  of Pogoren
with Katia, a seasoned war correspondent and one  of  the  citizens
you may remember from This War of Mine. The DLC  opens  with  Katia
struggling to write a book about the tragedies of  people  affected
by conflicts. A sudden missile  attack shatters  Katias  home  and
draws her work to a stop. Now, severely injured, she  waits  for  a
rescue party sent by her publisher   Before it  arrives   you  must
help Katia look for  her missing  book materials  while  trying  to
survive in a wartorn city.
