Für seine Freundin Selina möchte der verträumte Billy alles tun, es fehlt ihm nur am nötigen Kleingeld. Also gibt es für ihn nur eine Möglichkeit: Bankraub. Leider filmt eine Videokamera Billys Konterfei und er erscheint landesweit in den Medien. Billy versteckt sich daraufhin in einem Hotel. Während Selina ihn zu Hause ständig betrügt, wird er von jedem, mit dem er in Kontakt tritt, erkannt und erpreßt. Lediglich ein Callgirl hat für ihn Verständnis und hilft.

Das Regiedebüt des Briten Nick Mead strotzt nicht gerade vor Action, doch ist ihm eine witzig-skurrile Atmosphäre gelungen.
