Anfang 1944 besiegten die Sowjets die Wehrmacht mitten im Winter in der brutalen Kesselschlacht von Tscherkassy und feierten damit einen wichtigen Sieg, der die Deutschen empfindlich schwächte. Darüber hinaus machten sie der langen Belagerung von *****grad im Januar ein Ende.Im Sommer 1944 folgte mit der massiven Operation Bagration ein Überraschungsangriff, der die Heeresgruppe Mitte schwer erschütterte. Bis zum Herbst waren alle sowjetischen Kräfte an der Ostfront in der Offensive und bereiteten dabei den Weg für den Todesstoß nach Deutschland 1945. Bis Februar standen die Sowjets an der Oder unweit östlich von Berlin.Der letzte Sturm auf Berlin begann Mitte April. Sowjetische Truppen kesselten die Stadt ein und kämpften sich in schweren Straßenschlachten voran. Hitler beging am 30. April 1945 Selbstmord und Berlin fiel am 2. Mai. Das war das Ende von ****-Deutschland.Wichtigste Merkmale Sowjetische Kampagne "Sieg im Osten": der vollständige späte Kriegsverlauf aus sowjetischer Sicht mit 25 Szenarios angefangen im Januar 1944 bis zum Fall Berlins. Balaton 45 Mini-Kampagne der Achsenmächte: die letzte verzweifelte Offensive in Ungarn und Rumänien 1945, eine packende Kampagne mit 7 Szenarios und einem alternativhistorischen Pfad – ein Markenzeichen für Unity of Command II DLCs. Überarbeitete Werte: Einheiten und Spezialisten (sowohl sowjetisch als auch deutsch) besitzen aktualisierte Werte, um die veränderten Fähigkeiten am Ende des Kriegs widerzuspiegeln. Pocket, a brutal winter encirclement  battle and  a  major  victory
that chipped away at German strength. They also finally  lifted the
long Siege of *****grad in  January. The  summer of  1944  saw  the
massive  Operation  Bagration   a surprise  attack  that  shattered
German Army Group Center. By the fall, Soviet forces  were  on  the
offensive all along the Eastern Front, setting the  stage  for  the
final push into Germany in 1945. By February, the Soviets  stood on
the Oder River, just east of Berlin. The final  assault  on  Berlin
began in  midApril. Soviet  troops encircled  the  city   battling
their way  through the  streets in  fierce  closequarters  combat.
Hitler committed suicide on April 30th, and Berlin fell on May 2nd,
marking the fall of **** Germany.
