Todd und Terry sind Zwillinge, die eines abends in einem Autokino unbeaufsichtigt sind. Einer von ihnen findet eine Axt und ermordet damit einen Mann, er schafft es aber, dem anderen die Schuld in die Schuhe zu schieben und der wird daraufhin eingewiesen. Viele Jahre später gelingt ihm die Flucht aus der Anstalt und es gibt neue Morde – die er aber auch jetzt nicht begangen hat!
