Gemeinsam mit seinen treuesten Gefährten besinnt sich der unverwüstliche Didier Wampas auf seine erste musikalische Liebe: Psychobilly. Ein Wiedersehen auf der Warzone Stage des Hellfests.
Obwohl die Band Les Wampas vor allem für ihre Punk- und Rockabilly-Hymnen bekannt ist, war die Truppe um Didier Wampas in ihren Anfängen eher im Psychobilly unterwegs. Offenbar hat der Frontmann diese frühen Jahre noch in guter Erinnerung und kehrt daher 2024 mit dem Projekt Psycho Attacks zurück zu seinen Wurzeln.
Gemeinsam mit Effelo, einem Kontrabassisten und einem Schlagzeuger hat Didier Wampas nämlich eine ganz besondere Reunion gestartet und geht mit den beiden ersten Alben von Les Wampas, Tutti frutti und Chauds, sales et humides – zwei Highlights des Psychobilly made in France – auf Tour.
Vor der Warzone treffen also neugieriger Nachwuchs und Fans der ersten Stunde aufeinander. Auf die Plätze, fertig – und los, Didier!

Although the band Les Wampas is primarily known for their punk and rockabilly hymns, the band around Didier Wampas was more into psychobilly in its early days. Apparently the frontman still has fond memories of these early years and is therefore returning to his roots in 2024 with the Psycho Attacks project.
Together with Effelo, a double bass player and a drummer, Didier Wampas has started a very special reunion and is going on tour with the first two albums by Les Wampas, Tutti frutti and Chauds, sales et humides - two highlights of psychobilly made in France.
